Y The Last Man - 4

Here are some more pics from Y The Last Man. The writer is Brian K. Vaughan and there are more than one artists throughout the entire series and the main artist all throughout the series is Pia Guerra.

The main premise of this series is that for some unknown reason, all of the males in the entire world has died all at once. except for our main protagonist of course. and there are a lot of problems that the man has had to face due to this strange event. there are also people who have tried to kill this man, despite being the only man. there is a threat for humanity as the human race would not be able to continue without its male counterparts. this story is well written and well drawn. We can see a lot of strange things that are quite possible in this partially post apocalyptic world.

here in this picture, we can see that a woman is looking down at something. the woman has a leash of a horse and she also has a helmet in her other hand. this goes on to indicate that she is the rider of the horse and she wears a helmet for protecting her head. she is actually looking at something that has fallen down.it is not really clear from her facial expression about what she was thinking at the moment in time.

here also we can see another woman who is dressed a little bit like a man and her hair style is also made up to look like a man. in this post apocalyptic world, it is quite common that some of the woman would turn out this way and that is perfectly normal. from the way this character is looking up into the sky, it looks like she has a glimmer of hope for the future of mankind although everything might seem really dark at the point.

here we can see that the world is burning and everything is going to waste and there seems to be no hope. this is not actually the case for the story of y the last man. this is actually another comic book inside this comic book series. the woman in the first picture is from the same issue that has featured this comic book inside a comic book.

here at last we can see the main protagonist of the series, Yorick Brown. on his shoulders, we can see a monkey, Ampersand. if you look closely, Yorick is actually holding a comic book in his hands.

The main reason behind the survival of yorick in this world where everyone else has died is actually ampersand. it was revealed very late in the series that the monkey was an experiment monkey and yorick's father has conducted some sort of genetic experiment on the monkey and that is why, while yorick has been cleaning hte excrements of this particular genetically enhanced monkey, yorick has been immune to whatever that killed every other male human in the entire planet.
