Daytripper

Here are some pics from the limited series Daytripper. It is written and illustrated by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá. This short comic series is a refreshing read and any sorts of readers can get into the story of this series. You do not have to be a comic book lover to enjoy the story. It is beautifully written and the story portrays the life of a single person throughout different key points in his lifetime. every single issue showcases a different point in the persons life. however, in the end of every single issue, the person dies. that might sound like something odd since I already praised this story a lot. the thing is, it is not the ending, it is the journey. just read it and you will understand.

here we can see that a guy is sitting on a park bench with his dog. the dog seems hapy but the person does not show any such emotions. we can also see that pages fo paper are flying away from him. there is a nice double exposure effect going on in the background. we can see that there is a typewriter in the background. from the typewriter and the flying pages, we can deduce that the person is actually a writer. we can also take a wild guess and say that the person is actually a writer who is currently experiencing a writer's block. face it, all of the writers in the entire world has writers block at some point in their life. except maybe stephen king. there in the background we can also see a cup of either tea or coffee. although it looks like a tea cup. then there is a skyscraper and above everything else, we can see a couple standing on a boat on a lke or a river. even the art style is absolutely beautiful.

here we can see a man is talking to a woman, most likely to be his wife, who is pregnant and on a hospital bed. that is what is special about the story. there is nothing out of the ordinary, normal people in their everyday life experience these kinds of things on a regular basis. but still, it gives us a sense of gratitude to read something that can be closer to our hearts rather than reading about super heroes shooting laser beams out of their body parts.

here we can see a bunch of kids chasing a flock of geese. happiness and joy can not be better and more pure than this. these are the days that most people well into their adult lives cherish and love. and whenever we see children playing like this and having fun, it reminds us of the good old childhood days of our own and makes us want to go back to those days.

here we can see a big tree besides a road. we can also see a car on the road. it seems like there is some kind of smoke coming out from one side of the car. it can mean one of two things. either the car has some sort of problem and stopped moving. And when the engine compartment was opened up, a lot of smoke came out of the engine. or, it could also mean that the car is going too fast and the back compartment has got opened up by it self and stuff is coming out of that place. and the smoke would be the indication of the dust of the road for speeding up the car too fast.
