The story does not take place during the timeline of any of the movies. The comic short contains four issues. It actually has the story that takes place sometimes after the episode six movies that is titled the return of the Jedi.
here we can see that r2d2 is walking alongside with a person who is completely cloaked and hooded. although the dark attire indicates something dark like a sith lord or someone from the dark side or the empire. But, we know that that will not be the case for this particular droid because there does not seem to be any sort of distress in the two and they are walking away peacefully.
Now we can see that there are three storm troopers. two out of these three storm troopers are actually handling a large mini gun(I really don't know who named them to be mini guns, as you can always see that these guns are anything but mini in size). One of them is holding the gun so the balance and the aim of the gun stays proper and the other one is triggering the gun to shoot. it is really hard to miss your target when you are shooting them with a gun of this size. on the other hand, the third storm trooper seems to have only one rifle of some sorts. this third guy is more likely to miss all of his target.
without any surprise, we see that luke skywalker with his hand drawn out. behind that gloves, there is actually a mechanical arm. however, the force does not work with the hand actually. it is all in the mind of the force user. so Luke is actually using the force. and we can also see that he has dark clothing. that means that he was the one that was walking with r2d2. this story actually has luke leaia and all types of big characters. but, along with them, this story also features the parents of poe dameron, the one hell of a pilot featured in the episode seven.
